Version "t goes mònster!"- (3.0)

With this major update we have made Fiep's timeline more beautiful, clearer and faster. There is a clear agenda that shows all the activities of the school. A quick search function ensures that you always find what you are looking for. From now on you can share your profile with other parents. Notifications have been improved and expanded so you never miss a thing. Furthermore, the design has been improved for a better experience. We hope you are happy with this update!

New/improved in this update:

• School calendar
  All school activities in a handy and clear overview. Also the possibility to register directly from the agenda (for activities and, for example, parent meetings). For activities, the possibility to place them in your own agenda.
• notifications
  Improved push notifications, email notification clearer, various new notifications, badge notification.
• Share profiles
  Parents now have the option to indicate via the 'privacy settings' which data they wish to share with the school and any other parents via Fiep.
• View parent/child information
  From now on it is possible to view the children from within the group via Fiep and to view their parent information (provided that this information is shared by the parent).

Payment requests

From this version, it is possible that the school/child center or the parent council of the school/child center will send you a payment request. The payment request appears on Fiep's timeline. In this way, the parent council can easily offer the parental contribution as a payment request via Fiep, for example. You can then easily pay for it via your phone.

Profile picture

From this version you can adjust your profile picture and also the profile pictures of your children on both Apple and Android phones. When you delete your child's profile picture, the picture will revert to a 'monster'.

Push notifications

From this version, the working method of push messages has changed. When you press a push message, Fiep will open automatically and display the correct information immediately, so that you can work with Fiep faster and more pleasantly.

Emergency notifications

For all parents we have expanded the emergency notification settings with an e-mail option. In case of emergency notifications from school/child centre, you will now also receive a notification by e-mail in addition to a push notification. Parents who only use the Fiep web app (and cannot receive push messages) are therefore informed in this way.

Absence reports

From this version it is possible that a school uses Absence reports that you can do via Fiep. When the school/child center activates this option, you as a parent in Fiep can easily report your child sick. The relevant teachers will then be automatically informed.

Posts with comments and likes

The messages section has been expanded and from now on messages can appear in Fiep where you can give 'likes' and even post comments. Other parents also see these likes and comments. Optionally, you can always delete a posted comment.

Activities with participation

From this version in Fiep you can also be invited by your school/child center for an activity for which your participation is requested. You can then simply indicate that you are there via the "I want to participate" button. A question can also be asked for this activity, such as; "How many children can fit in your car?". Your answer will be visible to other parents who have been invited and the teachers.

A number of design improvements have been made to make Fiep even more beautiful and pleasant.

Version 1.0.6

In this version, a number of great functions have been added that make it even easier for the school/child center to communicate with you as a parent.

To inform

As a parent, from this version you can easily view posts published to your child, your child's group or the entire school. Photos and video can be viewed. They appear on a timeline that you can scroll through.

Profile

From this version you can change your own profile and add a phone number and address. You can also view your children's profile and see which teachers and school are associated with your child.

Notification settings

From this version you can indicate in the Settings in Fiep how you want to receive notifications. For each item you can indicate whether you want to be informed by e-mail or whether you want to receive a push message. The only type of notification that you cannot turn off is the emergency notification, when an emergency notification is sent from school, it always reaches all parents.

Filter

If you have several children at a school/child centre, you can expect a lot of information in Fiep. That is why from this version it is possible to filter your timeline on information about 1 or more children. In addition, you can also filter information based on the type of information, such as conversations, messages, activities, and photo albums.

Welcome to Fiep, the new parent app for schools and child centers! New in this version:

Register

You can register as a parent in the Fiep app and link yourself to your child. From that moment on you will automatically be kept informed of information that the school/child center wants to share with you.

Call scheduler

In this version, the teacher can invite you to participate in a conversation about/with your child. You can choose your own time slot in Fiep as long as the registration period is open. All parents of the child will be informed of the choice of time slot. you can change the time, as long as the registration period is open.

Photo albums

Parents can view school photo albums in the secure Fiep app. School/child center can choose to publish a photo album to specific parents, groups or the entire school. Only the selected people can view the photo albums.

Web and App

You can use Fiep on both your phone and desktop via the web, namely https://fiep.ziber.eu or as an app by downloading it from the Google Playstore / Apple appstore.
