Shop settings 'shipping methods'
You can create and offer an unlimited number of shipping methods in the ordering process. You can sort, make temporarily invisible and change the shipping methods.
Select zones
For each shipping method you will have to select the zones where the shipping method should be offered. When the customer's shipping address is in the zone, the shipping method will be offered in the order process.
Cost per shipping method
You can charge different costs to the customer for each shipping method you offer. These costs can depend on the total order amount, the total weight of all products together or simply a fixed rate.
- Based on turnover
When you select the option 'based on turnover', you can automatically let the shipping costs depend on the total amount. - By weight
You can also choose the weight option, so that different shipping costs will be charged depending on the total weight of the order. If there is no weight for a product, it will be included as 0 grams. - A fixed amount
The easiest way is to charge a fixed amount for a shipping method. If you set this to 0 euros, for example, no costs will be charged.
Request delivery date
For each shipping method you can set that the customer can choose a delivery date. You can indicate on which days of the week the customer can choose and how many days ahead of this day. For example, you can set that if the order is placed before 16:00, it can be delivered the next day.
Free text questions
If you want to ask the customer for a specific text for a shipping method, you can set it here. You can use this, for example, to let the customer place a comment, or for example to write a text for a personal message if the delivery is as a gift.
Image with the shipping method
You can add an image to any shipping method. This will be shown to the visitor on the site.
